Green Continues to Gain Endorsements

Larry continues to earn the support of a broad base of organizations and individuals as his campaign gains momentum. Recently Larry was endorsed by the Houston Association of Realtors, the Houston Apartment Association, and the Greater Houston Builders Association. And today, Larry was honored to be endorsed by the Houston Chronicle, who called him "the right candidate for the job" of representing District K. Green on the Issues

Making sure District K receives its fair share of resources is one of Larry Green's top priorities. He plans to use these resources to make a number of infrastructure improvements throughout the district. Even though our city is going through some tough times, Larry remains committed to empowering neighborhoods to create safer communities, a strong local economy and a brighter future for our families. Targeted City projects can help attract new businesses to locate or expand in District K revitalize our neighborhoods. Larry will take a comprehensive and planned approach to make sure District K  receives its fair share of funding for vital neighborhood projects.

Green in the Community

Larry Green continues to meet residents of District K. As he attends civic club meetings and community events, he has heard the many concerns residents have and their wishes for the future. Recently, Larry enjoyed meeting and talking with residents of Willow Meadows at the Fall Fest held at Willow Park. As residents enjoyed free food and drinks, live entertainment, fun and games, arts and crafts and a commercial expo, Larry took the opportunity to meet them and address neighborhood issues. Larry also attended several National Night Out events and he continues knocking on doors and informing District K residents why he is running to be their City Council Member.      Recently, Larry joined the Houston Police Department at the Grand Opening of the South Gessner Patrol Division. He spoke with police officers and residents about their concerns for District K.
